I am planning to get a new computer soon and would like to purchase an external hard drive. I have 58.0 MB of pictures and 21.1 GB of music. So how many gigs should I buy? I might save a few extra files. Please help.

How can I expand my internal hard drive with an external hard drive?

I have less than 1% space left on my family’s pc. I bought and external hard drive with 250 GB and I need to somehow link it to my internal hard drive to expand it or at least set it as the pathway where all future downloads are stored so I no longer receive the "low free disk space" message. Any ideas?

I’m kind of confused. I understand it allows for more storage, but how exactly? I have a macbook pro with only 250 GB hard drive, and my itunes library is going to go up to 3,000-4,000 songs. If i get an external hard drive, can i still have those songs on my itunes even though the file will be saved on the external hard drive? Or would it cause for it to work improperly and force me to delete the song?
