It is a superb external HDD, I recommend it to any Mac or PC user out there as it has loads of connectors to fit anyones system. I use firewire 800 with the iMac. I do not recommend Time Machine, that said it is personal preference.
LaCie’s 2TB external hard drive comes with RAID and FireWire 800.

Before you use it with the USB loader, you do have to format the drive, and do other setup, but this video just covers the physical installation and shows that this model of drive enclosure will work with the Wii. The issue with hard drive enclosures is that they have one type of port or another. When a new type comes out, you’ll need a new enclosure.
