    @Dasaalv You need to have the computer connected to the TV and play the movies from the computer to the TV.

    @babyblueatlantic You can back things up manually, or with software, but you can’t click clone anywhere. Try using Mac Time Machine or Windows Backup and restore center.

    I just picked this bad boy up yesterday. It was on sale for 99.99 of 119.99, after tax it was 108.61$. I still have to add stuff on it which wont be a problem. Over all I think this is a great external hd. =) nice review!

    @MONST3R46 Hi I just brought this as well.. But I think I brought the wrong type of HD…

    So does this thing stays turned on? Because there is no swtich? is it safe just to unplug its power supply? Because I just need one time use, I dont want it to backup everything.

    Does this external HD have to always be plugged in to a power source, or can I plug it up(power & usb) and backup my files and them put it back in the box for future use?

    I have a HP simplesave and I Lost my power supply, I bought one os 12 VDC @ 1.5 amp on radio shack and I do not works. Can you please do a measure of the output of the power supply to know How many volts are?
